Department of Environmental Policy and International Relations

Department of Environmental Policy and International Relations is a structural subdivision of the Ministry of Environment Protection of Georgia. The structural units of the Department are: Division of Environmental Policy and Division of International Relations. 

The competences of Department of Environmental Policy and International Relations are to prepare state and international environmental programs, to determine the priority directions of relationship with international organizations and countries in environmental field, to coordinate and monitor implementation of international commitments, to coordinate activities of focal points of environmental conventions having international and regional importance, to participate in organizing activities of joining environmental convention having international and regional importance.
